Now Hiring: Seasonal Kitchen Assistant for Wandering Owl.

You are:

• Speak English as a native speaker or to c2 level

• Experienced in food handling , customer service , or hospitality

• Detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy working in a clean, efficient way

• Adaptable---you're comfortable with varied tasks and some last-minute changes

• Comfortable working independently but happy to be part of a team

• A good communicator in English (Spanish a plus!)

This is a behind-the-scenes kitchen role perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in cleanliness and order, and wants to be part of a fast-paced, meaningful workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and pack food and hot drinks for tours (e.g. soups, stews, snacks, baked goods)

• Clean and maintain the kitchen area according to food safety standards

• Organize stock and help with weekly inventory

• Support basic food handling and presentation tasks

• Communicate with the guiding team to ensure smooth handoffs

• Occasionally assist with simple admin or errands when needed

What We Offer

• A seasonal contract (6 months) with potential for renewal in a future season.

• Full-time hours (37--40 hours/week)

• Salary in accordance with Norwegian worker rates NOK 205 per hour
