As Senior Software Developer you will play a critical role in development of products in automation, bridge systems, data acquisition and energy performance systems. Duties and responsibilities
The software team in Vard Electro is developing solutions for automation, integrated bridge, vessel performance and remote control for offshore vessels. The senior software developer will take part in developing solutions across the different domains.
- Design and development of software solutions
- To take part in all development phases, from idea generation to seeing your solutions in use
- To provide technical advice for coworkers when needed
- Continuously improvement of relevant technology
- Opportunity to participate in vessel commissioning and test activities to gain insight into real-world use of the software
Qualifications
- 5 years or more work experience in software development
- Relevant higher education
- Relevant work experience may compensate for lack of higher education
- Preferable with experience from Jira, Git and agile methodologies
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Java
- C#
- Frontend development (Vue, JavaScript, Node.js)
- Electron
- Linux
- Databases(TimescaleDB, MongoDB)
- DevOps (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Cloud
