Dock1 is looking for one or two experienced waiters who want to become a long-term part of our team.

Located directly by the water in the heart of Haugesund, Dock1 is a lively casual-dining restaurant and bar where great food, warm hospitality and memorable guest experiences come together.

We are looking for confident and service-minded people who can take ownership of their shifts. You should be comfortable working independently and, when the owners or restaurant manager are not present, stepping into a trusted host role and helping ensure that both guests and colleagues are well taken care of.

The positions are full-time and permanent, with a start date as soon as possible or by agreement.

🔍 Who We Are Looking For

You are an experienced waiter who genuinely enjoys hospitality and understands what creates an excellent restaurant experience.

You are:

• Experienced in restaurant or bar service
• Confident, responsible and comfortable taking initiative
• Friendly, professional and attentive with guests
• Able to guide guests through the food and drinks menu
• Comfortable handling busy services while remaining calm and organised
• A strong team player who also works well independently
• Sales-minded and able to recommend dishes, drinks and additional items naturally
• Flexible and available to work daytime, evening and weekend shifts

Experience with shift responsibility, hosting or team leadership is highly valued.

Your Responsibilities

As part of the Dock1 team, you will:

• Welcome guests and create a warm, professional atmosphere
• Serve food and beverages with care and attention
• Recommend menu items and help guests make the right choices
• Take responsibility for the flow and quality of service during your shifts
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive working environment
• Handle payments and cash responsibilities
• Maintain clean, organised and inviting restaurant areas
• Help ensure that Dock1 runs smoothly when management is not present
• Create memorable experiences that encourage guests to return
