The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany is currently seeking a
Service Area Employee (m/f/d) (Cleaning Staff)on a part-time basis(30 hours per week) for a fixed term of one year with the possibility of extension
Job responsibilities include:
• Cleaning tasks within the embassy (offices and functional rooms, restrooms, pantries, stairwells, storage rooms, etc.) as well as in the residence of the ambassador as a temporary replacement during vacation as well as the outdoor areas

Service at the embassy and the ambassador´s residence

Assisting the grounds maintenance staff and the caretaker (e.g., mowing the lawn, shovelling snow)
Required qualifications and experience:
• Several years of experience as a cleaning staff in a demanding environment
• Sufficient knowledge of German, Norwegian, or English for everyday communication, kunnskap I norsk er ønskelig, men ikke nodvendig
• Reliability and a sense of responsibility
• Robust health, resilience, and flexibility
• Ability to work well in a team
Additional information:
The weekly working hours are 30 hours per week. The compensation is in accordance with the embassy's current pay scale. The salary is 27.897 NOK gross per month. The contractual terms are governed by Norwegian law.
Applicants who do not hold Norwegian or EU member state citizenship are asked to provide a valid work and residence permit for Norway and already be bearers of a so called "fødselsnummer".
