Media Researcher - Embassy

We are seeking a highly motivated Media Researcher to join our embassy team. The successful candidate will research and analyze media developments, providing insights and analysis to support diplomatic reporting and strategic communication.

• Research, and analyze domestic and regional media coverage across traditional, broadcast, and digital platforms.

• Assess media narratives, framing, and discourse related to political developments, governance, foreign policy, and public affairs.

• Produce analytical reports, briefings, and situational updates for embassy leadership.

• Track key media including journalists, editors, opinion leaders, and influential digital platforms.

• Relevant university degree in Journalism, Media and Communication, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and research skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and Arabic. Additional language skills are an advantage.

• Experience in media analysis, journalism, research, or related fields is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of digital media landscapes and information trends.

• Norwegian citizenship or Permanent residency in Norway.
